John Deere Tractor Loader Sagging (Won’t Stay Up)
John Deere Tractor Loader Sagging
| Mathew | I have a J.D. 770 and the loader has suddenly started to “sag.” Every time I raise it, it immediately starts to lower the bucket. I have checked the hydraulic fluid and it appears to be okay. There is also no visible sign of leaking of any sort. I have used it for clearing some pretty heavy brush for about a half dozen summers, so perhaps something is stripped(?) Any information or suggestions will be appreciated. |

| Tony | I believe you have an internal leak in the lift cylinders. Replacing the internal seals should fix it. |
| Ron | If the unit still has lifting power, check the control valve. It may have a leak around an internal seal or gasket, or it may not be returning to the center or off position. |
